Ice Nine Kills are continuing their run of horror-inspired collaborations, this time partnering with the upcoming film Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come. The project follows the band’s recent crossover with Scream 7 for the single “Twisting The Knife,” further cementing their growing presence within the horror film world.
For the new sequel to 2019’s Ready Or Not, the band have adopted the fictional glam metal alter ego Grave Diggler, contributing an original track titled “Hell Or High Slaughter” to the film’s soundtrack.
The song and its accompanying music video are scheduled to premiere this Friday, March 20th — the same day the movie arrives in theaters. Promotional teasers introduce Grave Diggler as a tongue-in-cheek glam act supposedly made up of the fathers of Ice Nine Kills’ members, leaning heavily into the band’s trademark theatrical storytelling.
The elaborate preview also includes appearances from cast members tied to the film alongside several recognizable figures from the metal community, blending cinematic promotion with the band’s signature horror-meets-metal aesthetic.
With another high-profile movie collaboration underway, Ice Nine Kills continue expanding their multimedia approach, merging music, narrative lore, and horror culture into a unified creative universe.
