Immolation Debut “Bend Towards The Dark” Video As ‘Descent’ Album Drops

Veteran New York death metal outfit Immolation have unveiled a new music video for “Bend Towards The Dark,” arriving alongside the release of their twelfth studio album ‘Descent’.

The clip was directed by the band’s own Robert Vigna, giving the track a visual counterpart as the group celebrates the album’s official arrival.

Speaking on the song and its place within the record, the band described it as one of the more expansive cuts on Descent:

“‘Bend Towards The Dark’ is definitely one of the more ambitious tracks of the record. It has just about every element you would expect from Immolation, but takes things a bit further.”

“It’s intense and heavy, yet becomes very epic and almost orchestral at times, really embodying a lot of feeling and emotion throughout.”

“We really look forward to having it out there to ignite the release of ‘Descent’. We hope everyone enjoys it!”

With Descent now available, Immolation are hitting the road this spring as part of ‘The Godless IV Tour’, joining forces with Behemoth, Deicide, and Rotting Christ for a stacked run of dates across North America.
