In Flames have finally lifted the curtain on their annual summer festival, revealing that next year’s edition will return to their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden. Dubbed Göteborg Brinner, the festival will take place at Frihamnen on August 22nd, 2026, featuring an impressive lineup of both local and international heavy acts, including:

- Dark Tranquillity
- Raised Fist
- thrown
- Napalm Death
- Gaerea
- Mur
Commenting on the return to Gothenburg, In Flames shared:
“We previously have had our festival in Borgholm and Dalhalla but now more than ever it made sense for us to return home. Göteborg Brinner is a celebration of our roots and love of heavy music. We shook Metal Town at the pier 16 years ago and we can’t wait to do it again. Returning to this special venue in our city will be deeply emotional and nostalgic. Come one, come all to celebrate with us and our friends! Anders”
Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th at 10 a.m. using the password: Brinner. The public on-sale begins Friday, November 14th at noon.
