Ink & Dagger returned to the stage for the first time in fourteen years on October 30th, kicking off a string of reunion shows this week. Filling in for the late Sean McCabe, Geoff Rickly (Thursday, No Devotion) stepped in on vocals to front the legendary vampiric hardcore outfit.
Fan-filmed footage from the performance has surfaced online, capturing the band’s explosive return. The show arrived just ahead of the October 31st reissues of Ink & Dagger’s full catalog.
Following the set, Rickly took to social media, quoting lyrics from “The Road To Hell” — “On the first day, it was foretold that creation went the way the story is told.”
Rickly wasn’t the only familiar face to take the mic that night. Dan Yemin of Paint It Black also joined the band onstage, performing “Philapsychosis.”
Remaining Reunion Dates:
10/31 Philadelphia, PA – First Unitarian Church (feat. Deadguy)
11/01 Philadelphia, PA – First Unitarian Church (feat. Soul Glo)
11/02 Philadelphia, PA – Warehouse On Watts (feat. Honey)
