There’s a little life after death for Ithaca. The UK alternative metal act, who performed what was billed as their final show last weekend at O2 Academy Islington in London, have unexpectedly extended their run.
The farewell headlining set—dubbed “The Cremation Party”—was originally intended to mark the band’s official end, following their announcement last October. However, as revealed this morning (February 13th), Ithaca will now be making a surprise appearance at this year’s ‘ArcTanGent’ festival, set to take place August 13-16th in Bristol, UK.
Speaking on their unexpected return, the band shared:
“SURPRISE.
Our last ever performance will take place at our spiritual home @arctangentfestival. This will be a completely different show to The Cremation Party with a different setlist and very special guests. We cannot wait to send this band off with some of the most dedicated music fans in the world.”
