UK metallic hardcore act Ithaca have released their final track — a powerful, self-titled farewell simply named “Ithaca”.
“‘Ithaca’ means home, the place you return to when the journey is complete. In this final song, we put this band to rest. Every memory, every tear, every laugh is in here. Thank you for everything. Om namo naryanaya,” the band shared in a heartfelt statement.
Originally planning to end their run with a February performance at the O2 Academy Islington in London, England, ITHACA surprised fans shortly afterward by announcing one final farewell show. That last performance will take place on August 15th as part of this year’s ArcTanGent festival in Bristol, UK.
With “Ithaca”, the band offers a closing chapter filled with emotion, reflection, and gratitude — a fitting sendoff for one of the UK’s most vital voices in heavy music.
