Jack Black took the stage as host of Saturday Night Live last night and delivered a hilarious surprise for emo fans. During a sketch titled “Goth Kid on Vacation,” Black broke into character as My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, complete with a short parody performance of the band’s iconic anthem, “Welcome to the Black Parade.”
Black, who’s no stranger to musical performances thanks to his work with Tenacious D, also kicked off the episode with a high-energy parody of Aerosmith’s 1976 classic “Back in the Saddle” during his opening monologue.
