A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to assist the family of GosT mastermind James Cody Lollar following news of his passing. The dark synthwave artist’s death was confirmed in a statement shared on April 2nd.
The official announcement read:
“The whole GOST team is incredibly saddened to inform you that James Cody Lollar, known as GOST, passed away yesterday. We are sending all our prayers to his family and friends during this time of grief. He will be remembered as a wonderful human being and a tremendously talented artist.
We kindly ask that everyone respect the privacy of his loved ones during these difficult times. He will be deeply missed by all.”
In the wake of his passing, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized to help cover Lollar’s final expenses and ease the financial burden on his family.

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our loved one, James Cody Lollar. He was a father, a friend, a talented musician, and a one-of-a-kind human being.
