Jay Weinberg has added another collaboration to his growing collection of recent projects, teaming up with Ryan Patterson of Fotocrime and Coliseum for a new track titled “Another Head On The Pile.”
The new song marks the latest in a series of outside collaborations from Weinberg, who recently joined the roster of Fuming Mouth. The drummer is perhaps best known for his lengthy run with Slipknot, while his résumé also includes work with Suicidal Tendencies and other acts.
Patterson, meanwhile, brings his own extensive background to the collaboration through his work with Fotocrime and Coliseum.
“Another Head On The Pile” follows a series of recent collaborative releases from Weinberg, who has previously worked with members of Code Orange, Deafheaven and Softcult.
His recent projects have also allowed him to step outside of his usual role behind the kit. In July, Weinberg took on vocal duties for “Drown Fountain,” his collaboration with Softcult.
With “Another Head On The Pile,” Weinberg continues to expand his creative output beyond his work as a full-time drummer.
