Kataklysm have postponed what was set to be their first-ever live performance in Dubai, citing concerns surrounding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The Canadian death metal veterans were scheduled to make their Dubai debut on September 18th. The band announced today, August 14th, that the performance has now been pushed back to 2027.
Kataklysm issued the following statement:
“Hello brothers and sisters from Dubai,
We’re sorry to announce that the KATAKLYSM show scheduled for September 18 has been postponed to 2027. The promoters for the show have been excellent and accommodating in every way possible, but due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, we are forced to postpone KATAKLYSM’s first appearance in Dubai.
We’re sorry for this situation, but we’ll be there in 2027!”
The band did not provide a new date for the performance, only confirming that they intend to make their long-awaited Dubai debut in 2027.
