Katatonia Detail New Album ‘Nightmares As Extensions Of The Waking State’, Premiere “Lilac” Music Video

Swedish prog rockers Katatonia have announced their thirteenth studio album, Nightmares As Extensions Of The Waking State, which is officially set to arrive on June 06th through Napalm Records. Alongside the announcement comes the debut of a music video for the album’s first single, “Lilac”, available to stream below.

This record marks the band’s first full-length with newly joined guitarists Nico Elgstrand and Sebastian Svalland, rounding out the lineup with vocalist/guitarist Jonas Renkse, bassist Niklas Sandin, and drummer Daniel Moilanen. Longtime co-founder Anders Nyström, a core part of Katatonia’s sound for years, officially departed the band earlier this year.
