With the release of their highly anticipated thirteenth studio album just days away, Swedish progressive rock stalwarts Katatonia have unveiled a final preview in the form of the haunting new single “Wind Of No Change”.
The song arrives alongside a moody, atmospheric video directed by Claudio Marino, and serves as the third and final advance offering from Nightmares As Extensions Of The Waking State — due out this Friday, June 6th.
Katatonia frontman Jonas Renkse shared the following about the track:
“Transmitted through dusk, please receive our third and last single ‘Wind Of No Change’. The build up to the album has reached its zenith and you are elevated to the top of the soaring tomb. Sing praise!”
Nightmares As Extensions Of The Waking State marks another entry in the band’s continually evolving discography, promising a brooding, progressive sonic journey. The album will be released via Napalm Records.
