Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach has dropped another guest feature, this time on Loss Becomes‘ latest single, “Broken Mirrors.” This release closely follows his recent appearance on Black Stone Cherry‘s rework of “Out Of Pocket.”
Anthony Copozzi, the frontman of Loss Becomes, shared the inspiration behind the lyrics of “Broken Mirrors“, explaining the personal themes and struggles that shaped the song’s message.
“This song is pretty much summed up as a conversation about OCD, something I’ve dealt with as far back as I can remember. So, the idea of ‘bad luck’ has always been a funny thing that I’ve both been afraid of and laughed at continuously.”
As for aligning with Leach for this song, Copozzi added:
“He’s someone I’ve looked up to for many years and now I’m able to call him my friend. It’s an honor and a privilege to work with someone that can challenge you and step up your game, while also helping craft your art into something bigger and better. What a dream come true.”
Jesse Leach not only lends his vocals to the new Loss Becomes track, “Broken Mirrors”, but also appears in the accompanying music video, which was directed by Sean Ageman. The video was released alongside the single, offering a visual counterpart to the song’s intense themes.
