Michigan-based metal outfit Ligature Marks suffered a major setback this past weekend when their touring van was broken into in Spokane, WA. The incident resulted in the loss of thousands of dollars’ worth of gear.
The band was in town for their January 31st performance at The Chameleon. Bassist Karl Whinnery (also of Vintersea) spoke out on social media about the situation on February 2nd:
“Van got broken into in Spokane. Thousands of $$ worth of gear stolen. Show Friday at the Mission Theater. Times are tough—but if you wanted to snag music on Bandcamp, it would help offset the costs.”
Fans can support the band by purchasing music through their Bandcamp page: ligaturemarks.bandcamp.com.
Despite the setback, the group plans to continue their tour and urged fans to rally behind them during this challenging time.
