Limp Bizkit Blast Bootleg Merch Store, Wes Borland Says Band Feel “As Big, If Not Bigger” Than Early Days

Limp Bizkit have publicly addressed a webstore falsely claiming to be the band’s “official merchandise store,” slamming the operation as a source of unauthorized bootleg gear while teasing their own official merch rollout.

The nü-metal veterans took to social media on May 29th to warn fans about the impersonating shop, making it clear that it has no affiliation with the band and is selling counterfeit items.

“WARNING – this online shop is FAKE AS A MF – if you want FAKE BOOTLEG UNOFFICIAL Limp Bizkit merch then go right ahead – BUT for those who want the real deal merch you’re in luck – we are launching our FIRST and ONLY online merch shop VERY soon. Stay tuned”

Alongside the merch dispute, guitarist Wes Borland has also been reflecting on the band’s renewed wave of popularity. Speaking in a recent mini-documentary tied to his new Jackson King V signature guitar, Borland said Limp Bizkit’s current momentum feels comparable to — or even stronger than — their late ’90s breakthrough era.

“The past two years for us has been wild. I don’t know it’s people doing dances on TikTok or if it’s just the resurgence of the band… This feels as big, if not bigger, than when we first came out. People aren’t old and gray like us. People are young and like new fans.”

Borland added that the band regularly sees overwhelming crowd reactions, with new generations filling venues and reacting to their classic material alongside longtime fans.

The renewed attention has coincided with a broader resurgence in Limp Bizkit’s profile, driven in part by viral clips, festival appearances, and renewed interest in early 2000s nü-metal culture. The band say their official merch store will launch “very soon.”
