Lorna Shore have premiered a new music video for “In Darkness,” pairing the release with the announcement of an extensive spring North American tour.
The track appears on the band’s latest full-length album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, and sees the symphonic deathcore outfit once again teaming with director David Brodsky (Cattle Decapitation, The Black Dahlia Murder), who previously collaborated with the band on several recent visuals.
“In Darkness” leans heavily into the emotional undercurrent that has become a defining element of Lorna Shore’s recent material, blending orchestral elements with the band’s trademark extremity. Vocalist Will Ramos explained that the song reflects feelings of isolation and anxiety, particularly those experienced growing up on the fringes.
“‘In Darkness’ is about growing up feeling distant from everyone, a song about anxiety and being an outcast (as many of us metal fans grow from). It’s a song about embracing that outlandish and ostracized feeling. Knowing that we have grown in the shadows, the darkness of the world, but accepting that through that darkness we have become.”
The newly announced tour will take Lorna Shore across the United States and Canada, including appearances at major festivals such as Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple. Paleface Swiss and Signs Of The Swarm will provide support.

Sounds like every song they’ve put out for years and years now. It’s getting stale.
Andrei Mahoney it’s the exact same lead up, chord progressions, blast beasts, squeals, growls, lows, time signature…it’s all the same!
