Sick Of It All vocalist Lou Koller has revealed that his cancer has unfortunately returned, just months after being declared cancer-free in May. Koller was first diagnosed with a tumor in his esophagus in June 2024 and has undergone multiple treatments since then.

In a video message shared today through the band’s social media, Lou stated:
“Hey everybody, what’s up? It’s Lou here. I don’t know if you could tell it’s me by my new skeletal look that I have going on.
Here’s an update for you, it’s not one I want to make. But unfortunately, the cancer has come back, and he brought some friends with him.
I was having a really hard time with my recovery. I was having a tough time gaining weight and keeping food down, so I had some scans done, and sure enough, it’s back.
But um, we’re going to take it day by day and see what happens. I want to thank you all again for your moral support. You know, to the way you’ll reach out to me, still, is very you know, thank you very much> but I’ll keep you updated and let you know how it goes, alright? we’ll see you soon.”
A GoFundMe remains active to help support Lou with the medical costs related to his ongoing battle.
