British MP Joins Growing Push to Cancel Another MARILYN MANSON UK Tour Stop

Marilyn Manson’s upcoming UK and European tour is once again drawing controversy, as pressure mounts to cancel multiple dates due to the numerous abuse allegations that have followed the shock rocker since 2021.

Most recently, British MP Siân Berry—alongside organizations including Survivors’ Network, Reclaim The Night Brighton & Hove, The Queery Co-Op, and the University of Sussex Students’ Union—has issued a formal plea to Brighton & Hove City Council to cancel Manson’s planned October 29th show at Brighton Centre. In her letter, Berry emphasized that hosting Manson sends a damaging message to survivors of abuse, stating:

“The level and nature of the accusations against Warner are concerning enough alone, but so too is the message sent out by providing a platform for this individual, at our city’s biggest publicly owned venue, and what this will mean to survivors.”

The demand follows a similar effort led by BCP Council leader Millie Earl, who has been urging the Windsor Hall/Bournemouth International Centre to drop Manson’s Halloween night performance in Bournemouth, UK.

Since 2021, over a dozen women have come forward with disturbing allegations against Manson (real name Brian Warner), including claims of sexual assault, abuse, and manipulation. These allegations surfaced largely after his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood publicly accused him of abuse, triggering a series of civil lawsuits—some of which have been settled or withdrawn, while others are still ongoing.

Here’s a quick overview of the current legal landscape involving Manson:

• Esmé Bianco settled her sexual assault lawsuit against Manson in January 2023.
• Ashley Morgan Smithline dismissed and recanted her claims in February 2023.
• Another unnamed accuser settled with Manson in September 2023.
• A lawsuit from former assistant Ashley Walters is heading toward a tentative June 2025 trial.
• Bianca Allaine Kyne has also filed suit for alleged abuse dating back to the ’90s.

Manson has denied all allegations and at one point filed a defamation suit against Wood and her associate Ilma Gore, which he eventually dropped. While several criminal investigations were conducted, authorities ultimately announced earlier this year that no charges would be filed.

Despite the backlash, Manson is pressing forward with his comeback. He released his new album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 in 2024 via Nuclear Blast, and returned to the stage for the first time since 2019. His upcoming fall tour is expected to be his first full-length run in years.
