Norwegian black metal pioneers Mayhem have announced their seventh studio album, Liturgy Of Death, set for release on February 6th through Century Media. The record will feature eight new tracks, with “Weep For Nothing” serving as its lead single — a visualizer for the song is available below.
An accompanying press release described the song as “a hymn to nothingness where grief becomes meaningless… a cold and fast grandeur that channels the essence of mortality without offering solace or escape.”
Liturgy Of Death will arrive in multiple formats, including deluxe box sets, colored vinyl editions, and CD variants.
Pre-orders are live now via mayhemband.lnk.to/LiturgyOfDeath.
