Megadeth are preparing to take their upcoming farewell campaign across Canada early next year, mapping out a full run of February and March dates alongside fellow thrash heavyweights Anthrax and Exodus. Dave Mustaine and company will launch presales tomorrow, November 26th, at 10:00am local time, with the general onsale following this Friday, November 28th at 10:00am.
The tour arrives as part of Megadeth’s planned multi-year farewell cycle, which Mustaine first confirmed this past August. At the time, he explained that the band’s goodbye tour will unfold over three to five years, supported by what will be their final studio album. The self-titled record, Megadeth, is slated for release on January 23rd and will notably include a cover of the Metallica classic “Ride The Lightning”, which Mustaine co-wrote prior to forming his own band.
