Megadeth Find a New Record Label to Call Home

Megadeth have found a new label home, as Dave Mustaine has partnered his Tradecraft imprint with BLKIIBLK, a newly launched division of Frontiers Label Group. If that name rings a bell, it’s the same label that signed the reunited hardcore veterans Biohazard this past October.

Mustaine, the legendary Megadeth frontman and guitarist, had the following to say about this new partnership:

“When I first met Tom Lipsky [North American head of A&R at Frontiers Label Group] and Bob Chiappardi back in the day, I had no idea we would be working together again so many years in the future. I look forward to working with Serafino [Perugino, President/CEO of Frontiers Label Group] and the team in Italy and I can’t wait for the fans to hear the songs from our new record.”

Megadeth have once again enlisted Chris Rakestraw behind the boards for their upcoming seventeenth studio album. Writing and recording sessions for the effort originally began back in November of last year.
