Mercyful Fate are officially set to return to the stage after more than two years away from live performances.
The legendary Danish heavy metal outfit, fronted by King Diamond, has announced its first confirmed show since April 2024. The band’s long-awaited return will take place at the ‘Leyendas del Rock’ festival, scheduled for August 11th-14th, 2027, in Villena, Spain.
The appearance marks Mercyful Fate’s first announced concert since wrapping up their previous run of live dates in 2024 and is expected to be one of the festival’s marquee attractions.
Additional tour dates or festival appearances have not yet been announced, leaving fans to wonder if more live performances will follow the band’s return next summer.
