Something Sleep Token-related appears to be on the horizon this Saturday, March 29th, if a cryptic post from metal-loving meteorologist Chris Michaels is anything to go by. Known for sneaking metal references into his weather reports for WRAL News (Raleigh, NC), Michaels has now shared a teaser featuring the Sleep Token logo, the word “prepare“, and the date March 29th.
Naturally, fans are speculating. Could this be an official band announcement? A new single? Or is Michaels simply hyping up his own Sleep Token-themed content? Earlier this month, he teased the band in both his social media posts and broadcasts, leading some to believe he may have gotten an inside scoop. Others think it could be tied to his ongoing efforts to cover Sleep Token‘s latest single, “Emergence”, or a fresh Sleep Token-inspired weather forecast.
Either way, anticipation is at an all-time high. The masked alternative metal collective is already building momentum for their upcoming album, Even In Arcadia, due May 9th, and their first-ever North American headlining arena tour, which sold out almost immediately.
