Metallica have officially expanded their upcoming residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, adding six additional performances that now push the run into early 2027.
The newly announced dates arrive following overwhelming fan demand — and widespread discussion among fans attempting to secure tickets during the initial onsale period for the groundbreaking immersive venue.
The thrash metal legends confirmed the following additional performances:
10/08 & 10/10
11/05 & 11/07
01/28 & 01/30
The band also shared updated presale information via social media:
‘Fan Club Presales for BOTH Legacy and Fifth Members begin tomorrow, March 4, at 1 PM ET // 10 AM PT. If you already have a Legacy or Fifth Member code, you can use it to access this new presale.’
With the expansion, Metallica’s Sphere residency schedule currently includes:

- 10/08 & 10/10
- 10/15 & 10/17
- 10/22 & 10/24
- 10/29 & 10/31
- 11/05 & 11/07
- 01/28 & 01/30
