Midnight are bringing the filth and fury of their live show to record with ‘Satanic Attack Live!’, a new concert album due out November 6 through Metal Blade Records.
The one-man blackened speed metal outfit captured the performances that make up the release at Knucklehead Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA, recording shows on May 28 and 29 of this year.
Mark Borders handled the live recording, while Zach Rippy took care of the mixing.
Midnight mastermind Athenar offered his typically colorful take on the live album:
“Did I ever think there would be a Midnight live, in concert record album? Haha shit, naw! But if you’re reading this, you are probably holding a copy in your bloody semen/leukorrhea-dripping paws. With the help of D.K. Vagslay, Iron Possessor, and about 300 dirt merchants and headbanging Hollywood sleazeballs, it was possible to concoct such a document of disgust.”
A live performance of “You Can’t Stop Steel” from the upcoming release is now streaming, giving fans a preview of the 15-track set.
‘Satanic Attack Live!’ will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats, with pre-orders currently underway.
