Californian hardcore punk outfit Militarie Gun recently stopped by NPR to deliver an intimate performance as part of the long-running ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ series. The band scaled things back for the office-setting session, showcasing a tighter and more melodic side of their sound while still maintaining the urgency that has helped fuel their growing popularity within modern hardcore.
For the appearance, Militarie Gun ran through a six-song set pulled largely from their recent material, blending punchy hooks with raw energy in the stripped-down environment. The performance featured the following songs:
“B A D I D E A“
“God Owes Me Money“
“Throw Me Away“
“Don’t Pick Up The Phone“
“Thought You Were Waving“
“Do It Faster“
The session arrives as the band continues their busy spring North American run alongside Joyce Manor, Teen Mortgage, and Combat. That tour is currently making its way across the U.S. and Canada with the remaining dates listed below.
