Ministry dug deep into their catalog during their ongoing farewell tour this week, bringing back a track they had not performed live in more than two decades.
During their September 15th performance at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO, where they shared the bill with Acid Bath, the industrial metal legends performed “Scarecrow” from their landmark 1992 album ‘Psalm 69’ for the first time since 2003.
Fan-filmed footage of the long-awaited live return can be viewed below.
The Red Rocks performance also featured a special appearance from former Ministry bassist Paul Barker, who joined the band onstage for “Useless” from 1996’s ‘Filth Pig’.
The song was previously given its live debut with Barker earlier this year, making his latest appearance another notable moment during the band’s farewell run.
Ministry are also preparing to release what has been billed as their final studio album, ‘Hate To Go – Take Out Or Delivery’, on October 30th. The band unveiled another preview of the record earlier this week with the new track “Singularity.”
Despite Barker’s involvement in the forthcoming farewell album, his contributions are limited to a single track on the record.
