Minus The Bear Announce 20th Anniversary Tour For ‘Menos El Oso’

Minus The Bear has officially announced their 2025 reunion tour plans, which will feature a special fall run celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2005 sophomore album, Menos el Oso. Earlier this month, the band confirmed their return with the announcement of a stop at this year’s Best Friends Forever Festival in Las Vegas, NV. Now, on March 11th, the math rockers have revealed the full list of dates for their upcoming tour in celebration of the iconic album.

Guitarist Dave Knudson is no stranger to reunions, having recently participated in the brief return of his other band, the beloved mathcore group Botch. Knudson shared his thoughts on the upcoming tour, stating:

“‘Menos el Oso‘ put us on a trajectory that none of us were expecting. There is a “before ‘Pachuca Sunrise’ video” moment in time, and then there is an ‘after ‘Pachuca Sunrise‘ video’ moment in time. It seemed like once people heard that song, and saw that video, everyone went straight to Limewire, Napster, Soulseek, BitTorrent, etc. and shared the album immediately.

Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of something this monumental in our lives is a gift. Having the chance to appreciate it with our fans, families and fellow bandmates while we are all alive and kicking is an opportunity I can’t wait to embrace.”
