Minus The Bear are set to revisit a defining moment in their catalog this fall. The math rock veterans have announced a new North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, ‘Menos el Oso’.
The upcoming run kicks off in early September and will see the band performing across the U.S. alongside shoegaze outfit Keep, who will open most dates on the trek. Select Texas shows will also feature special appearances from Jimmy Eat World.
Presales for the tour begin tomorrow, March 18th at 10:00am local time using the password MENOS20YEARS, while general ticket sales launch this Friday, March 20th at 10:00am local time.
The anniversary run marks another opportunity for fans to experience material from ‘Menos el Oso’ live, an album widely regarded as a pivotal release in the band’s evolution and one that helped cement their reputation within the mid-2000s indie and math rock scenes.
