Mirar Surprise Release New EP ‘Gradus Ad Parnassum’

French avant-garde thall/djent collective Mirar have quietly dropped a new EP, ‘Gradus Ad Parnassum’, with the release arriving today, May 16th, through YouTube and Bandcamp with little advance notice.

The eight-track effort continues the band’s experimental and atmospheric approach to modern extreme metal, blending dense djent textures with the eerie, cinematic edge that has helped the project stand apart within the thall scene.
