The Mojave Experience is expanding its second annual edition with the addition of Clutch and Warm Uncle, joining an already stacked lineup of desert rock, stoner metal and heavy music acts.
The festival is scheduled for March 19-21, 2027, at Joshua Tree Lake & Campground in Joshua Tree, California. Among the previously announced performers are Corrosion Of Conformity, Fu Manchu, Red Fang, Brant Bjork, Mondo Generator and Nebula.

Organizers are positioning the Mojave Experience as more than a traditional music festival, with attendees able to camp, hike and rock climb while taking in the landscape associated with the development of the desert rock scene.
According to the festival’s organizers, the event draws inspiration from the region’s long-running independent music culture, including the Desolation Center, generator parties, Rancho de La Luna and early desert festivals.
The organizers also described the event as a gathering built around the connection between the bands, fans and setting rather than a conventional festival environment.
“The Mojave Experience grew naturally out of that. It wasn’t created to recreate something from the past. It came from the music and culture that have existed in this desert for decades, while giving the next generation of bands and fans a place in it.”
The second edition will once again take place at Joshua Tree Lake & Campground, with additional details surrounding the 2027 festival still to come.
