Blackened death/thrash outfit Morbikon have unveiled a brand-new animated music video for their track “Flames That Blind And Shadows Cast”, which premiered online on December 10th via Decibel.
The clip was once again written, animated, and directed by the band’s own Phil “Landphil” Hall (also of Municipal Waste), and serves as the latest chapter in Morbikon’s ongoing medieval fantasy storyline — a visual narrative that has now stretched across multiple album cycles.
The video ties into the band’s most recent full-length, Lost Within The Astral Crypts, which arrived this past November and further expanded Morbikon’s lore-heavy approach to extreme metal.
Speaking on the new installment, Hall explained:
“I am thrilled to present everyone with the third installment of my medieval fantasy animated series featuring the music of Morbikon. I love getting a chance to dive back into the universe that is building in these videos. I have learned so much since creating the first video four years ago and I hope that it shows!”
