Mötley Crüe have withdrawn from the inaugural ‘Boardwalk Rock‘ festival, set to take place May 17-18 in Ocean City, MD. Although the band has not issued a statement, festival organizers attributed the change to “health concerns” within the Mötley Crüe camp.
It is speculated that the band’s departure is related to vocalist Vince Neil’s recent medical procedure. In place of Mötley Crüe, grunge icons Alice In Chains have been announced as the new headliner for the event, which will now proceed as follows.
