    Motograter Reunion With Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody Is Currently In The Works

    Nu-metal outfit Motograter may be moving closer toward a reunion with former frontman Ivan Moody, as new comments from drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson suggest discussions are actively underway.

    Speculation surrounding a potential reunion first surfaced after former Motograter member Michael “The Kidd” Stewart hinted on social media that the band and Moody were reconnecting. While the group has yet to issue an official announcement, Robertson has now offered the most direct confirmation yet that talks are happening — and that Moody’s involvement is more than casual.

    When asked whether Moody was simply visiting, collaborating, or fully back with the band, Robertson responded:

    “Everything is a conversation right now. To what extent he is involved is yet to be determined.”

    Moody originally fronted Motograter during the band’s early 2000s run, helping establish their abrasive, industrial-leaning nu-metal sound before departing and eventually rising to mainstream prominence as the vocalist of multi-platinum groove metal act Five Finger Death Punch.

    Robertson’s comments stop short of confirming a full-scale reunion or new material, but they do make clear that the connection between Moody and Motograter is active and evolving. For fans of the band’s original era, that alone represents the strongest indication yet that something significant could be taking shape behind the scenes.

    As of now, neither Motograter nor Ivan Moody have formally outlined plans for recordings, live performances, or lineup changes, leaving the scope of the reunion an open question — albeit one that now appears increasingly real.

        Tony Panovic I agree there will always be haters too every band. I love motograter too and ghost machine and ffdp. It’s like likely mudvayne or he’ll yeah or slipknot and stone sour and mushroom head. With the changes in the band no matter what it’s ivan moody no matter how you look at it. All great bands no matter what. Because no matter what we say we will listen to it all even the haters that say they hate but they listen too FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH

        I love all his music and everything he’s done in all his band and movies. Too me it’s ivan moody. You can’t change that. You can hate whatever you want but it’s the same.       The motorgrater lineup with Moody was intense and nobody can say different, though it seems their is no official word from either party talking is a good thing and if comes through then Hell yeah I will give it a go forsur so let’s just wait and see what happens.

      I remember seeing Motograter back when I was like 14 at Rock-Fest with my dad at the Columbia Meadows. They put on a killer show.
      That was a great lineup of bands.
      Trapt, Spineshank, Motograter, Chevelle, Korn, Disturbed and a few others.

      Played with a version of Moto a few time back 2008-2010 sometime. There was one member, a guitar player, wasn’t even an original member himself, but he was the one with the rights to the name at that time. They had a killer vocalist, but nothing is better in that spot than Ivan. Way better than FFDP

      When will Motograter perform again?

      Motograter has already reunited and is active, with their most recent reunion announced in May 2023. They’ve confirmed performances, including the Blue Ridge Rock Fest in September 2023, with the lineup featuring:
