New Miserable Experience, a supergroup featuring members and alumni of Revocation, Rivers Of Nihil, Rosetta, and more, have returned with their latest single, “Ordinary People”. The track is described by the band as:
“A song that is a reaction to rich and powerful men trying to convince us that they are ordinary people and that empathy is a toxic trait.”
The collective includes Brody Uttley (Rivers Of Nihil) on guitar, Brett Bamberger (ex-Revocation) on bass, Bruce “B.J. McMurtrie Jr.” (Rosetta) on drums, David Grossman (ex-Rosetta) on vocals and bass, and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Mahesh Kost (Model Prisoner).
Their upcoming album, Gild The Lily, is set to arrive on January 23rd via Pelagic. The album promises a diverse mix of alternative synth rock, carrying the band’s signature blend of melodic intricacy and atmospheric heaviness. Pre-orders are available here.
