Last night (January 30th), the FireAid benefit concert for California wildfire victims brought an unforgettable lineup to the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. Among the standout moments was a surprise reunion of Nirvana‘s surviving members—Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear—performing with a rotating cast of guest vocalists.
The grunge icons delivered a powerful set featuring St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett, and Violet Grohl on vocals. Their setlist from the Kia Forum included:
- “Breed” (feat. St. Vincent)
- “School” (feat. Kim Gordon)
- “Territorial Pissings” (feat. Joan Jett)
- “All Apologies” (feat. Violet Grohl & Kim Gordon)
The benefit concert, which also featured performances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, and more, was livestreamed globally. Donations are still being accepted at fireaidla.org to support those affected by the wildfires.
