Finnish melodic death metal veterans Omnium Gatherum have unveiled the music video for “My Pain”, the second single from their upcoming tenth studio album May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way. Longtime collaborator Jari Heino returned to direct the latest visual from the band, who have now officially set November 7th as the release date for the album via Century Media.
Vocalist Jukka Pelkonen shared his thoughts on the new track:
“‘My Pain’ is a story about the toughness one faces when adversary appears. It is about the rising emotions of anger, fear and apprehension, basically the time fight or flight mode shows its face. It is common among street gangs and soldiers but also between friends, lovers and amongst family ties. It is a story of conquering these feelings and becoming your own master.”
