OMNIVIDE Premiere “Void” Music Video, Announce New EP ‘Arise’

Canadian progressive metal outfit OMNIVIDE have released their brand-new music video for “Void”, the lead single from their upcoming EP Arise, due out October 10th via Seek And Strike.

The band explained how this new chapter builds upon their 2022 debut A Tale of Fire:

“Our new Arise EP is a major evolution from our debut album, as we took the elements we loved most from that first release and cranked them up another level. People can expect more techy riffs, bigger orchestral arrangements, more progressive song structures, and more clean singing to complement the harsh vocals. The EP also has a lot of ups and downs in intensity, going from all-out brutal riffs to chilled-out, subdued clean sections throughout each song.”

On choosing “Void” as the lead single, the band added:

“It was the first song that began to take shape at the beginning of the writing process for this EP, so it has a lot of the foundational characteristics that inspired the rest of the tracks. It encapsulates our intentions with the music for this EP, which is why we chose it as a lead single. It also has the most direct link to the lyrical theme of the EP, being about overcoming inner limitations and external adversity in life’s most dire situations.”

Lyrically, Arise explores themes of resilience, growth, and facing life’s toughest challenges. Musically, fans can expect technical riffs, soaring orchestral elements, contrasting harsh and clean vocals, and a mix of heavy intensity with progressive atmosphere.
