UK shoegaze act Oversize has signed a deal with SharpTone Records. Along with the announcement, their song “Fall Apart” has been made available online. Sam McCauley, the band’s vocalist, offered the following on the lyrical inspiration for the song:
“‘Fall Apart‘ lyrically shifts around the themes of grief and heartbreak. Reflecting on a moment of disconnect. How you can feel numb and soulless whilst still yearning for a connection, for love. The basic want of someone to hold you and tell you it’ll be just fine, while simultaneously isolating yourself from the world.”
Lewis Lennane-Emm, the band’s guitarist offered the following about signing a deal:
“It really is an absolute honor to join the SharpTone family, home to so many of the very best current alternative artists. To be part of a culture that celebrates and nurtures creativity and artistic development feels very special.”
