Last night’s (March 4) episode of ‘The Masked Singer’ leaned heavily into the world of heavy metal and hard rock with a special “Ozzfest Night” theme. The episode paid tribute to legendary frontman Ozzy Osbourne, with several contestants performing songs tied to the iconic vocalist and the historic festival he co-founded.
Among the performances were renditions of Ozzy’s solo classics “Mama I’m Coming Home” and “Crazy Train,” along with Black Sabbath’s timeless anthem “Paranoid.” The show also featured covers of Linkin Park’s “One Step Closer” and Incubus’ “Drive,” both fitting choices considering the bands’ past appearances on the long-running Ozzfest festival lineup.
Adding to the occasion, Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne was present during the episode as the performances unfolded.
Beyond honoring one of metal’s most influential figures, the episode also arrives amid renewed interest in the festival itself. Sharon Osbourne recently confirmed that Ozzfest is set to return in 2027, with early plans reportedly including dates in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
