The late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with a special live tribute at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. The performance, celebrating the legacy of the Prince Of Darkness, is set to air during the awards ceremony on February 1st.
The tribute will feature an all-star backing band consisting of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and producer/musician Andrew Watt.
Post Malone will front the performance. The rapper-turned-country star previously collaborated with Osbourne on his 2019 track “Take What You Want,” before returning the favor by guesting on Osbourne’s 2020 song “It’s A Raid.”
All of the musicians involved in the tribute contributed to the final albums released by Osbourne prior to his passing on July 22nd, 2025, following a heart attack and a prolonged battle with illness.
The tribute is expected to serve as a powerful celebration of Osbourne’s influence across generations and genres, spotlighting the enduring impact of one of heavy metal’s most iconic figures.
