Late heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will be honored at the 2026 BRIT Awards this Saturday (February 28th), where he will posthumously receive the ceremony’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The evening will also feature a special musical tribute curated by Sharon Osbourne. Pop superstar Robbie Williams is set to close the show with a performance of the title track from Osbourne’s 4x platinum 1991 album No More Tears. He will be backed by several of Ozzy’s longtime bandmates, including guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
Stacey Tang, co-president of RCA Records and chair of this year’s BRIT Awards committee, said of the honor:
“Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music. Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed. This Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence, that continues to connect with fans worldwide.”
A similar tribute was held earlier this year at the Grammy Awards. Osbourne passed away on July 22nd, 2025, following a heart attack after a lengthy battle with illness.
Williams previously worked with Ozzy’s Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi, making this tribute performance a notable crossover between British rock icons.
