Trailer Drops For New Documentary ‘Ozzy: No Escape From Now’

A new trailer has arrived for ‘Ozzy: No Escape From Now’, the upcoming documentary on the late heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne. Directed by BAFTA Award-winner Tania Alexander, the film began production in early 2022 and was completed with the full involvement of Osbourne and his family.

The documentary explores the Prince of Darkness’s life and career, with a particular focus on his later years and health battles. Osbourne suffered a devastating fall in 2019 that dislodged steel rods from a previous ATV crash surgery, leaving him with severe mobility issues. Those challenges were compounded by his ongoing fight with Parkinson’s disease.

Alongside candid family access, the film features commentary from a wide roster of Osbourne’s friends and collaborators, including:

As seen in the trailer, filming was extensive—capturing Osbourne in the studio for his final albums, his brief stage returns with the aid of a back brace, and his grand farewell at this past July’s ‘Back To The Beginning’ concert. Tragically, that all-star sendoff came just weeks before his passing on July 22nd, 2025, at the age of 76.

Reflecting on the project, Sharon Osbourne shared earlier this year:

“This film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years. It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. It’s about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy.”

‘Ozzy: No Escape From Now’ premieres October 7th on Paramount+.
