Oklahoma-based slam titans PEELINGFLESH have unleashed a blistering new collaborative single titled “Midnight,” teaming up with dubstep/EDM heavyweights SVDDEN DEATH, YVM3, and NIMDA for the track. The unexpected fusion of brutal slamming death metal and high-energy electronic production is now streaming online.
The track was previously teased during a live set and shared across social media by multi-platinum artist and producer MARSHMELLO, stoking early hype for the genre-bending release.
PEELINGFLESH guitarist JASON PARRISH shared the origin of the crossover track:
“The song came from me listening to Ice-T with my pops when I was like 9/10 in an ’89 Trans Am with two 12s in the hatch, and always wanting to sample ‘Midnight’ by Ice-T into something, so I sampled it for the intro and wrote some riffs over it, essentially.”
Vocalist DAMONTEAL HARRIS added:
“We linked up with NIMDA, then he linked up with SVDDEN DEATH and YVM3 and here we are. Shout out to Jason’s pops and NIMDA.”

Tyler Modglin no, it was odd. And maybe that’s because I don’t know much of svdden death. Odd techno like the new crap that within destruction is doing.
