Progressive metal innovators Periphery have returned with a crushing new chapter, unveiling their latest single, “Mr. God,” alongside a striking music video that leans heavily into the band’s darker and more atmospheric tendencies.
The track marks the first preview of the band’s upcoming album ‘A Pale White Dot‘, which is slated for worldwide release on May 15th. Continuing their long-standing independent approach, the group will once again issue the record through their own imprint, 3DOT Recordings.
Directed by Caleb Young and creatively helmed by drummer Matt Halpern, the video amplifies the song’s ominous tone through stark, high-contrast visuals that mirror the track’s unsettling intensity. Halpern’s creative involvement is evident throughout the production, helping translate the song’s weight and tension into a visually cohesive experience.
