It’s been a weirdly celebratory week for extreme music fans with a taste for the provocative.
Legendary grindcore band Pig Destroyer have officially entered the adult novelty market with their own branded line of butt plugs — appropriately titled ‘Plug Destroyer’. Available now via Bandcamp, fans can choose from stainless steel, black silicone, or hot pink silicone. Sizes vary, but as the band cheekily puts it, “one size fits all… eventually.”
Not to be outdone, Ghost saw a fresh batch of their notorious ‘Ghildos’ hit Rockabilia, just in time for Mother’s Day — and promptly sell out. This updated version features a mold of frontman Papa V Perpetua, and follows in the footsteps of their previous Phallos Mortuus Ritual set, which also stirred plenty of buzz.
