Polaris have announced that Miss May I bassist/vocalist Ryan Neff will be stepping in to handle bass and backing vocals for their upcoming North American run.
The Australian progressive metalcore outfit confirmed the change after their own bassist/vocalist Jake Steinhauser made the decision to remain at home to support his family amid ongoing health concerns. The band shared the update on social media, emphasizing their full support for his choice.
With Steinhauser temporarily stepping away, Polaris have tapped Neff—also known for his work with As I Lay Dying—to fill in for the duration of the tour.
The upcoming run sees Polaris supporting German electronicore outfit Electric Callboy on their TANZNEID North American Tour, with Scene Queen also appearing on the bill.
