Organizers behind this year’s Post. Festival have issued a candid appeal to fans as they attempt to navigate mounting costs and ensure the event’s future.
Scheduled for July 23-25 at the Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi Annex in Indianapolis, IN, the 2026 edition is set to feature performances from Torche, Kylesa, Rolo Tomassi, The Armed, and more. However, festival organizers say rising expenses and uncertainty throughout the live entertainment industry have left them struggling to reach the break-even point.
In a statement shared last week, the festival team cited increasing travel costs, high fuel prices, visa issues, and broader economic concerns as contributing factors behind the financial strain.
“To be completely transparent, we are struggling to reach our break-even point this year. There are a lot of reasons for that—rising travel costs, unreasonable gas prices, crippling visa delays, nagging uncertainty about the future—and we truly understand the struggle. We are now at a pivotal moment where we need to ask for your support.”
In response, organizers announced several changes, including shifting Thursday’s programming to an indoor-only format for three-day and Thursday ticket holders. They also encouraged supporters to purchase tickets sooner rather than later to help cover upfront costs.
Fans unable to attend were encouraged to support the event through merchandise purchases or donations, with organizers stressing that “every dollar truly matters.”
Despite the challenges, the festival made it clear that this year’s event remains on track.
“Post. Festival IS happening come hell or high water—see you all in July!”
