Rising masked alternative metal band PRESIDENT have unveiled their latest single, “dark heaven,” alongside a unique music video featuring reactions from fans who heard the song before its official release.
The track is the newest preview from PRESIDENT’s upcoming debut album, ‘Blood Of Your Empire,’ which is scheduled for release on September 4th.
According to the band, a select group of fans—referred to as “citizens”—were invited to a private listening experience in Los Angeles where they became some of the first people to hear “dark heaven.” Their reactions were later incorporated into the song’s official music video, creating a larger narrative centered around the band’s growing fan community.
PRESIDENT also shared the meaning behind the new song, describing it as an examination of faith, power, and the misuse of belief systems.
The band’s namesake stated:
“‘dark heaven’ is a reflection on the contradictions of faith, and how something intended to unite humanity has so often been used to justify division, violence, and power.”
The statement continued by addressing the relationship between greed and perceived righteousness.
“It’s about the way greed can wear the mask of righteousness. It isn’t an attack on belief itself; it’s about searching for something real beneath the noise, and asking what remains when certainty begins to crumble.”
In support of ‘Blood Of Your Empire,’ PRESIDENT will embark on their first full-scale North American headlining tour this fall with support from Cenobia and Showing Teeth on select dates.
Following the North American run, the band will head overseas for a lengthy European and United Kingdom tour featuring support from vianova and Dreamwake.
With each new release generating increased attention, PRESIDENT continue to build momentum ahead of the arrival of ‘Blood Of Your Empire’, one of the most anticipated debut albums in modern alternative metal.
