Prong have unveiled another preview of their upcoming self-titled studio album with the release of “Fear The Sun.”
The new track arrives ahead of the album’s scheduled November 6th release through the band’s forthcoming campaign. The record will mark Prong’s 14th studio album overall.
Frontman and guitarist Tommy Victor says the new song draws inspiration from the band’s early groove metal sound while putting a modern spin on it.
“I think we went back into time on this song. It’s a modernized version of the groove metal basics Prong laid a foundation for back with ‘Beg To Differ’. Lyrically, ‘Fear The Sun’ reflects upon living with no seasonal changes, metaphorically.”
“Fear The Sun” is now streaming across digital platforms.
